Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using Pepwise, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Pepwise Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your license of the app. If these terms conflict with Apple’s required terms, Apple’s terms control to the extent of the conflict.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Pepwise complies with applicable laws, professional requirements, and institutional policies.

3. Educational and research use only

Pepwise organizes user-entered records and provides calculators, reference material, study links, and general research context. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, monitoring by a clinician, emergency services, or a substitute for professional judgment.

Many compounds described in Pepwise may be investigational, unapproved, restricted, or not approved for human or animal use. Inclusion in the app does not mean a compound is safe, effective, legal, available, or appropriate for any use.

4. Calculations and reference information

Calculators and conversions depend on the values and units you enter. Reference material may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or inapplicable to your circumstances. Always independently verify calculations, labels, concentrations, source material, contraindications, and legal status with qualified professionals before making decisions.

5. No emergencies

Do not use Pepwise for emergencies or urgent health decisions. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately. Report adverse events and product concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional and regulatory authority.

6. Your records and device access

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, maintaining appropriate backups or exports, securing your device and Apple account, and deciding whether to enable iCloud or Apple Health access. You grant Pepwise permission to process the records you enter solely to provide app features on your device and through your private iCloud sync environment.

7. Apple Health

Apple Health integration is optional and limited to body-weight data. You control access through Apple settings. Pepwise’s charts and trends are informational and are not diagnostic measurements or clinical monitoring.

8. Sponsor and third-party content

Pepwise contains a static Wellness Research Supply sponsor placement and may link to third-party studies, references, or websites. Sponsorship does not personalize content using your app records and does not constitute a recommendation to purchase, possess, dose, administer, or use any compound. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

9. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Pepwise, attempt to bypass its security, reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits, use it to violate law or third-party rights, interfere with its operation, or represent its educational content as individualized medical advice from WRS.

10. Intellectual property

Pepwise, its software, branding, design, and original content are owned by or licensed to WRS and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Study citations and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Your limited license is personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and subject to these terms and Apple’s app license terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pepwise is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, data preservation, or suitability for medical, clinical, laboratory, or regulatory use.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WRS and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunity, health outcomes, or business, arising from Pepwise. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Pepwise in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WRS and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of Pepwise, violation of these terms, unlawful conduct, or reliance on app content contrary to these disclaimers.

14. Changes and availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, content, integrations, or support. We may revise these terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not subject to mandatory consumer protections will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
